Cyberattacks are a growing threat to small businesses with nearly 9 in 10 small business owners surveyed by the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA) reporting being vulnerable to cyberattack. In response, U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen and the Senate Committee on Small Business & Entrepreneurship Chair Ben Cardin lauded an SBA announcement to award the Maryland Department of Commerce nearly $1M to provide tailored cybersecurity services to small businesses.
